National Seed Swap Day + Fun Winter Sowing Project

FreeJoin us for national seed swap day! Plus learn about the “winter sowing” method of growing seeds.
Bring a packet of seeds or seeds you’ve collected. If you don’t have any, no worries you’re still welcome to come! We will have an area with seeds and envelopes for you to take home as well.
In this workshop we will be showing you how to winter sow seeds for transplants and create a small “terrarium” with recycled plastic containers to take home. If you have an empty clear gallon-sized milk jug or a clear takeout container (my favorites are from Chilis) about 4″-6″ deep, you can bring one to use or there will be some provided.
In the event of inclement weather we will host indoors at the cafe.
All supplies are provided.
